Laura Inconnu
Yoga Instructor
As far back as Laura can remember, she’s been absolutely infatuated with movement, and the beautiful and enigmatic relationship between the mind and body.
After over twenty years of a personal yoga practice, she decided it was time to share the gifts she has received from learning to be in her body through both activity and stillness.
While Laura has experience with Vinyasa, Iyneger, and Ashtanga, it is in Yin Yoga she feels the most at home. Her classes consist of a combination of deep long holds to relieve fascial tension, breathwork and meditation. Laura is also a knowledgeable functional movement practitioner, and brings this element into her classes as well.
Having struggled with complications related to Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, she sees the immense benefit of balancing a “go-go-go” lifestyle with time to unwind and release the tension we build within ourselves; physically, mentally, and spiritually.
Laura also likes to stay active with Jiu jitsu, and enjoys any activity that involves being outside in nature. She lives on her regenerative farm on Underwood, with two kids, a vineyard, and a menagerie of animals. Wine and grape growing brought her to the Gorge, and it is here she is launching her new winery, AITIA.
