Brooke grew up caring for animals on her grandmother's land, and developed a passion for being around them. In college, she was able to expand on that and work with larger animals like steer, bison, and a water buffalo. After college, Brooke worked as a scenic trail guide for a larger horseback riding facility until she moved out to the Gorge. 

Since she relocated to the Pacific Wonderland over a decade ago she has expanded her fur family, revived her love of snowboarding, and pursued an interest in baking. Bouldering has also become a part of Brooke’s routine after she discovered Brimstone in 2024. She’s inspired by plants and their remarkable uses, and wants to learn Japanese!
